This function was created to provide visual backup and accountability for inbound and outbound transactions, internal and external claims or inquiries, or other processes when photo evidence would prove beneficial. The image is stored in the NetSuite file cabinet and associated with the order entered for future reference.

Pro Tip: Many RF-SMART customers use this function insurance to capture pictures of orders before they leave the warehouse. In doing this, they can dispute damaged goods claims or make improvements to their packing and shipping processes.
Are you looking to mark orders from the warehouse floor? Manual packing and shipping processes leave a lot of room for mis-shipped orders. When you’re in the warehouse performing these processes or picking and staging orders ahead of time for shipping at a later date, normally you would have to go back to NetSuite and manually make any updates. This function was created for those customers seeking the ability to update the Item Fulfillment status of picked orders directly from the RF-SMART client. Item Fulfillment Mark Orders is an out-of-the-box solution that provides customers with a couple of preferences to choose from for their order marking processes.

This workflow was created to provide support to our customers utilizing NetSuite’s native Inbound Shipment feature, allowing users to use the function with their RF-SMART software. With this functionality, businesses can group and receive separate purchase orders together. If your business is already using NetSuite’s Inbound Shipment, users can now extend the functionality to the warehouse floor using RF-SMART. Employees can receive Inbound Shipments in a similar manner to our base Purchase Order receiving functions, which creates a more streamlined process. Your team will be able to utilize the functionality and efficiencies without needing to have separate procedures or work arounds.

When you’re picking items from throughout the warehouse, are you looking to avoid having to go back into NetSuite to manually create a new Transfer Order to fulfill your picks? Creating transfer orders can cause interruptions when you need to pick orders on the fly. When you’re on the warehouse floor, it would be beneficial to combine two steps into one - both creating the transfer order and picking the items for the order. The Transfer Order Create workflow enables users to scan items with their RF-SMART device to add to a Transfer Order, without the need to create a Transfer Order ahead of time in NetSuite.
